Default Difference between HX and DX/LX/CX Exhaust manifold/ Cat Converters?

The exhaust manifold on my 1997 Civic HX broke. The car is out of the extended emissions warranty so I need to replace myself.
I found a local guy who has several manifolds off a D16Y7.
I am pretty sure they will fit as they all have the same aftermarket Doorman PN, but according to parts websites (OEM honda) there is a difference: HX = 18160-P2M-A02 where as the others use a 18160-P2E-A12

Can anyone confirm that yes the DX/LX/CX manifolds are the same, and yes they will fit on a HX?

thank you!

my roommate had an EK DX with the Y7 with an exhaust manifold leak so we put an exhaust from an LX with a Y7 on it

And that fit fine? I was looking at OEM part numbers, and they are in fact the same between the DX LX etc so I believe that is confirmed.

Big question now is will one of the above fit onto a HX?

i dunno about the HX....the engine is the same, which means the head is the same so the exhaust studs on the head will mount up, the only problem that MIGHT occur is oilpan clearance, but if both motors have the same oilpan then you shouldn't have clearance issues.

It should be fine. I have an hx, does the flange on the top of the downpipe that you have have 3 holes for studs? The only difference I could think of would being the cat itself because of the emission the hx was meant to put out. You should be fine.
