Default Midwest Autocross road racing Driving lessons/Tracks

Ive been interested in road racing and auto crossing for awhile. Started reading threw the FAQ and came across Turnfast.com. Ive been reading all threw the articles.
Next summer ide like to take some driving lessons or go to a track day or something. Problem is I cant find anywhere to go. Ive done the straight line thing for awhile and im just tired of it. Ive talk to some people in the past at car meets or at shops like ProFunction or One6 about it. So I know there are tracks around the area. Ive tried googling and searching HT. The only thing I come across is schools or tracks that let you use their cars, witch I dont want to do.
Any one have advice or have some info I could use to get started? I live in the Chicago nw Indiana area.

Stick with Profunction and One6 as you already have. They can guide you to tons of educational track events.

Madison Sportscar Club

Here's a list broken down into state on the Autocross forums. The two listed above are also on that list.

Yea i would but the only way i can contact them is Via phone. I am currently deployed to Afghanistan and stationed in Germany.I dont want to bother Mikey or Mark with something so small. Im trying to find a event if possible April 6-16 are my next for sure leave dates. I know it probably wont happen considering the weather is crappy in the midwest intill may.
