B16A standalone ecu issue
Hi, I have a B16A OBD0 engine with a B16A2 head/cams, I'm assuming this would have the original dizzy fitted? The problem I'm having it getting the initial config correct for a standalone ecu i.e. tooth count etc for the crank and cam sensor, could anyone help at all if any of that made sense! Thanks
None of that made sense what-so-ever and on top of that you never said what engine management, OBD, ect... Sounds like you have A LOT of learning to do...
Since we're making assumptions here, I would assume you're running the B16A's OBD0 intake manifold? Also, that you're converted to OBD1 and using an OBD1 distributor?
I didn't say what ecu as it's not well known in the USA, the B16 is from a crx and had an OBD0 ecu with it, this is now in the bin! I have TWM throttle bodies fitted not the standard inlet. Sorry probably should have explained myself a bit better, I need the trigger pattern and reference position for the B16A crank (i.e. 90 deg BTDC) and cam sync sensor. Thanks.
