anyone has any diy on how to changed a pcv valve? i seen some but im confused if you take it out from the top or you need to crawl underneath the car to take it out?

im having bad mpg but no cel.

It plugs right into the black box thingy on the back of the block, below the intake manifold.
Almost impossible to remove from up top.
Have to remove the oil filter to have a decent shot at removing it, so your best bet is to change it at your next oil change.

thanks alot. i was trying to jank it off from the top but it wont budge. so i will do this now.

 

if its original, there is a good chance it is stuck on there good and VERY VERY BRITTLE!!

spray some lubricating oil there and let it sit, then attempt to take it apart.

 

Yeah, you don't wanna snap it off in there like yours truly and have to take that little box off and all that crap
