Default New engine bay tuck and rims!!

Hello everyone. I havent really posted much, but i did post my car a long time ago and got some good feedback. lots of things have changed sence then. Im currently doing another build and the other car forums ive been on seem to be dying a bit in the performance section... so ive came here.

Here is my car as of last year. ( getting a sleeved 2.0 and a gtx35 with some other goodies)

Sorry about the pics, I dont have to many.. I had some bad adr rims that i wanted to get rid of for ever and everyone on here said they were awful so i made the change to some volk ce28ns. My dream rims

I also re did my engine bay, thats pretty much the focal point of my car.

for next year im going to be running a sleeved b20 with a gtx35 with some water meth, hoping to hit 600whp on 91 pump.

How come in the first picture, your car has a 94-97 front end and the second drag pic has a 98-00 front? Safe to assume the second picture isn't your car?

Unfortunately where i live the closest track is 3 hours away and its only open one weekend a year. Its called terrace bay. Its very hick and its an abondoned airport strip thats in rough shape. The next closest is rock falls, about 7 hours away. On the weekend that its open i only get about 12 runs in. Every year the car is completely differnt. so you could imagine how hard it is to get a good run in with very little seat time lol..

as it stands my fastest 1/4 time is 11.98 at 121mph with a 1.9 60ft. ive trapped as fast as 124mph as well.. thats also on 91 pump 390 whp. never made it down the track on the 465whp race gas tune.

If I remember this car didn't you do a build thread on TI on how to tuck an engine bay? And you did it outside in the middle of winter because you got kicked out of the garage because your dad bought an NSX?

Looks very familiar and I can't get on TI at work to look...

Anyways the car is amazing, and I love it. Can't wait to see the new build put in. Should be even better then now.

haha yea thats me. Thanks a lot, i really appreciate the comments. I did 90% of the work in a car tent in - 30 weather lol. i built the motor indoors though lol. My dad wont take his car out of the garage if there is a cloud in the sky haha, so im usually stuck doing stuff in the tent. thankfully the harder parts are done. its as easy as pulling the motor and rebuilding it and swamping a few things. no biggy. not something i havent done lots before lol.

ill be sure to make a little build thread one i get the gtx35, sleeved 2.0, water meth and other goodies.

Should be a blast to drive. To bad I live so far away I would like to see this in person and lend a hand. But thats a drive, if our hockey team gets to the tournement in Toronto may be able to swing by and take a look if you would be up for that. If we get that far though lol.

It's actually a few years old, but you need to run their cam gears with it as it gets the signal from a magnet or something mounted facing the cam gear.

I believe your thinking of the hall effect sensors like the ones on the RB26 from Nissan.

However I do not believe you need AEM's cam gears from what I have seen and read I have heard nothing of needing this. Or cars I have seen with the AEM EPM have anything attached to the cam gears. From what I have seen the only things you need are the stand alone system EPM and coil packs. Then obviously the wiring.

I could be wrong on this but from what I have seen and read you don't need any magnetic sensor that attaches to the cam gears. And I don't see anything about it listed on their site.
