CEL & MAINT REQD - 98 RS B20B
Hey guys, I'm having a few concerns with my Integra. I'll try not to make this too long winded!
Initially I had bought the car with a check engine light on, this was back in August 2011. Ran fine had lots of power, great on fuel, was in tight shape to say the least. It wasn't until I drove across province about 6hr no stop that it flipped the maint reqd light. blinking several times in the on position and then after being on constantly.
So now i have both lights on all the time (maint stopped doing the blinking) and the car has rough idle, listening to exhaust it spits and sputters and also smells pretty rich.. I had done synthetic 5w30 oil and a pcv valve before the trip and since then i have done another oil change, changed plugs (gaped @ .040) wires, and ignition coil pack. OBDII scanned it, codes showed cylinder mis-fire 1-4. A friend had mentioned that if when the previous owner did the swap, and hadn't done a Honda O2 sensor or map sensor, that it would flip engine codes all day. I'm a short on loot around Christmas and just hope that its nothing too serious.. any feedback helps!! thanks in advance - Steve

Too small. Proper gap is .043. Although that won't cause misfire codes.
Which was what specific codes? P0301, P0302, P0303, and P0304? Any other codes? Was P0300 one of them?
You need to reset the Maintenance Required light. I have a page for that:
