Default k24z3 Question

I notice that the head of the k24z3 features a single port exhaust manifold intergrated into the head...I see this severely limited what after market units you can run with it..

How or WHAT is the product ran as far as a header goes with this block??????

fixed - heads are not interchangeable, oil passages don't line up, camshafts are different lengths, single lobe exhaust cam. no such thing as a header with that motor - the exhaust bolts to the head lolz

head is prolly best for a cheap turbo setup where you can easily fab a bracket adapter from the exhaust port to a T4 or T3 turbo bracket...

block has variations too.

Very limited applications w/ this engine. Like said a turbo set-up will work but only in the chassic that it came in. A swap will be difficult due to the oil filter location. It prevents use of the current 6speed tranny(2002-2011). Its right where the intermediate shaft would go.

I am very dissapointed w/ Honda on this one.

Disappointed indeed. Heads no good. Oil filter location is a pain as well, I only say this cause of the k20 oil pump modification. Honda screwed up the New Si as well. Oh well, if you use z3 block be easy on the rev limit.
