Default working on clearing CEL codes, some general ?'s

since i have finished up my swap i have been working on clearing each CEL that appears.

and im only really down to 4. and they seem to hinder the performance of the motor when regularly driving, and sometimes can cause me to go into Limp mode.

CEL codes are-
4- crankshaft position( CKP sensor)
8-top dead center position(TDC sensor)
9-no. 1 cylinder position (CYP sensor)
14- IAC

now i have yet to remove the IAC and thoroughly clean it but will do asap when i have some cleaner.

but on codes 4, 8 and 9, i have a brand new dizzy. probably about 3 weeks old.

i am thinking i need to check my wiring first.
then worst case scenario, change out my dizzy and see what happens.

before i made this thread i did reset the ECU properly. pulled the fuse. waited a good bit, then put it back in. cycled the KOIO, about 3 times, then cranked it and let it idle for 5 min.

*i converted to OBD1 as well, and i have a 2 plug dizzy*

If you have codes with CEL on you are already in limp mode...

If you have a new distributor then obviously your wiring is wrong.

What exactly is your question/s?

Are your grounds good? I think those sensors all ground at the same place.

if I have cel codes on it doesn't go into limp mode. Hell I've been driving it perfectly fine with cel codes and it didn't go until limp mode.

It only seems to happen if its below operating warm temp and if I get on it really hard and rough.
And my wiring IS correct. I've checked it. But what I AM going to check is the connevtions where solder was applied

OK then Mr. Smart Guy, then what is this thread about since you know it all and everything is correct? You get on here and give people information that typically isn't 100% correct - then make 100 threads on how messed up your vehicle is. So which is it?

n3va3va i have a question.

i was backing out of a friends driveway, and i applied light pressure to the brakes, and my driver wheel made a horrendous clunk noise and seemed to lock up..but it doesnt do it while going forwards??
also i can go over the little reflectors in the road and i can hear kind of a metallic clanging or klunking noise coming from the driver front.

my shocks have always been bad since i got the car, but what does this sound like?

Could be a loose radius rod at control arm, loose crossmember bolts, loose/bad suspension parts, ect... The only way to really figure it out would be to jack it up and inspect everything. Put a load on the strut and shake things around. Inspect all mounting bolts in the area.

im gonna pull the wheel off and look in the AM hopefully it will be a little bit warmer.

now weird thing is, i can apply the brakes hard going forward and nothing happens....but i apply the brake LIGHTLY in reverse and it klunks and sounds absolutely horrible.

could it possible be a messed up caliper bolt or bracket as well?
when i get it jacked up in the air first thing im gonna do is see if the wheel moves forward or backwards. then pull off my shock and see if it completely gives away
