I've read most threads re this common prob, checked for vac leaks, coolant blead, throttle body clean, iacv cleaned... and she stills surges when warm... I haven't replaced iacv 3 section rectangular 'o' ring...

The car is immovable so haven't had codes read.

1). Can this model IAC be overhauled/opened and cleaned?

2). When its hunting if I place my finger over iacv port in throttle body, I can get the engine to idle perfectly. Is this a sure sign of bad IAC? $ issue around replaceement... anybody know where I can get the cheapest part?
