About 8-10 sq ft per door in a civic. A 96-00 hatch "trunk" takes about 30-35 sq ft. It really depends on how in depth you get with it; whether or not you overlap, or not.

The panels come off fairly easily. Just take your time and go SLOW, take all the screws out then pull slowly to unclip everything.

you can also just do it in strips, saving both money and weight without diminishing the effects of putting the stuff in.

my focals in the doors, one layer normal dynamat, and one xtreme
one layer in the trunk
