Default Newish....

I'm new, I guess...I had a 98 GSR before, several years ago.

Sold it and have always missed it.

I found this 99 GS for sale local to me and scooped it up for $3300. I was very weary about it due to the miles, (almost 200k) but the previous owner has always paid the money to have a shop do all the maintenance. I added up all the receipts (he gave me all of the ones since 09) and it's literally $15,000 in parts/labor.

It's a virgin... no modifications to it.

Here are a few pictures of my new Integra...just a point and shoot camera, nothing fancy.

Plans to keep it safe.... no real mods planned. I want to wire up a kill switch eventually but it's garage kept so I'm not toooooo concerned about it getting stolen.

Very nice, hard to find a "clean" unmodded Integra and a GS to boot.

Also $3300 is not bad at all and under 200K miles is OK, it is a Honda.

Hint, as soon as possible, [right now] pull the rear wheel arch "protectors", they protect nothing and only lead to premature rusting, [if it has not started already] 94

Im searching the forums for an answer but Ill post my ? here too. My hvac is weird...if you try to slide it from cold to hot, itd get 3/4 of the way and stop. I forced it once like a dumbie and now its not activating the heat even though its all the way on hot. If you dont have it all the way over itll automatically slide back to mid way.

Im guessing I have to take the cover off and check the cables behind it.

Anyone experience this before?

Cable has most likely come off at the water valve, [engine bay side of firewall on heater hose] easy to see, if not there then at the HVAC control head. 94

Cable is attached but I moved the valve to open and its blowing hot....move the slider to cold and it moves then try to go back hot and its hard to slide but i get it over.....but the valve stays closed.

Ima try to lube it up and see how that goes.
