any idea what it is ,can they be chromed or something [IMG][/IMG]

Anything metal can be chromed, but keep in mind that chrome discolors from heat fairly easy.

Much more likely to be correct than chrome.

agreed, prolly jethot coating or similar... i believe they can do it in almost any color.
