no spark or fuel
no spark and no fuel... sounds like the crank sensor is not getting power... are you getting no injector pulse? or just no fuel pressure... does the fuel pump prime when u hit the key

steps to take on a no start condition. do you have power at the fuel pump with the key on engine off... If you have power at the fuel pump you can rule out the MAIN RELAY. Do you have Injector pulse, you need a noid light, this is a very easy test... you hook the noid light into the connect at the injector and the light will flash everytime the inject is supposed to spray... If you have injector pulse you can rule out the crank sensor... If u have no Injector pulse and No spark u either A have no power to the crank sensor, B have a bad crank sensor (<-- prob not if all u did was change the wiring harness) or C have a junk ECU (<-- not likely) IF your fuel pump is getting power check for fuel pressure at the fuel rail, should have 30-40psi. Other things you can do is take out the Dizzy and check resistance on the coil with a multi-meter or take it to your local autozone they will do it for you, same thing with the control module... hope some of this helps PM with any other specific questions
If you do not hear the fuel pump then it is most likely a PGM-FI Main Relay problem or related to the PGM-FI main Relay.
To confirm, turn ign. switch on and test for power at the fuel injectors, lead that is the same color on all 4 injectors.
Also test for power on IPG1 and IPG2 at the ECU/ECM.
What is MM&Y of car, or is it an 01 GS-R?
What is the swap, [jummper harness]? 94

When you turn the key to the "on" position, and look at the dash, does the check engine light come on and stay on? I had this problem with no spark or fuel on my 92 LS, and chased the problem for weeks. I replaced the main relay with new, a bunch of ignition parts, and almost replaced the fuel pump. I checked the wires and grounds anywhere I could, and in the end it turned out to be the ECU. Different ecu, fired right up. Hope this helps. ---- Jonny.
