So who ISN'T being a pussy and getting out of Hondas?
I am not giving up, i just finished my install. The install did not go the way i wanted it to, and almost quit. But since i finished the Greddy Turbo Kit install, i just need to tune my hondata and i am done.
I dont think we should call them pussies though. they have their reasons, and we just pray for their souls, that they will come back to the dark side.

I'm not. I think it's because I am way too lazy.
If I weren't as lazy, I'd get into real cars.
Uh oh, flame suit on!

I'm not getting out of it...hell, as I see it, I just FINALLY got started!
Nope, I have have a Civic because I like Civics, not because I am looking for the next bandwagon car craze to jump into.
I for one am not.
Despite the percieved mass exodus of members to other platforms, I feel that for those who are interested in grassroots racing efforts, Honda poseses the most economical route for entry level motor sports. The ones who migrate to a more plush vehicle, trade their spartan interiors for leather and a much higher monthly note and premium. Most of the people in the FI forum who bore of the jaunts down the quarter mile should take a hint from the ITR owners and partipate more in local autox or HPDEs. Dowtime and deplorable interiors= stress for daily drivers. However if you factor in a nice daily driver (move up from a 'beater') to a nice used lexus (around 10K) and devote your civic/integra to full race (racing is the reason you did all this crazy crap to it in the first place) and I think you'll be much happier. I myself would love to have a 02+ M3, however i can have just as much fun with a stripped integra and 2 other vehicles and nearly half the cost.
The original elegant rant fell victum to IExplore crashing, but you get the general theme.

is a *****what can I say, I am what I eat
---but on a serious note I think I should focus on whats important right now, work and school so that in the future I can buy some real toys, Why waste all ur money on a Civic, when in a couple years u can waste all of ur money on a Porsche?
The point is you should keep your EK and stop dropping money into it if thats your reason for 'getting out'. But more than likely getting out = spending more money on a 'nicer car', or gettting a crappier car. Save money, keep the EK and learn to drive (autox or engage in driving events) so when you get your porsche you'll enjoy it.
I did for a little while. I got rid of The Beast, and got myself a Lexus SC300. I figured I'd drop a 2JZ-GTE in it, but then realized I was in over my head when I found out the motor alone would cost me, oh...$15,000 to drop in. Then I got bored with the Lexus, and gave it to my mom, took her Explorer, gave it to my fiancee, and took her EG. Now I'm back, and an H22A Type-S is looking for my engine bay.
I just want to finish my Corolla. Cannot wait to start launching a RWD car with huge slicks on the back and a welded diff. OOHHHHHHH!!
waste it on a civic? dude...wtf you talking about..
I dont think its a waste at all.
im not getting out..im just getting started!
although to satisfy my want for rwd(all of a sudden) i might pick myself an old 5.0
(well see how the the cash flow goes cause i havent been holding back onthe turbo stuff lately)
but if the negative attitude here keeps up...i might be forced to leave for a while...it is kinda demotivating..
