Well like the title says. I would like to see if it can be done and see if anyone has any experience on this. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

 

SiR pertains to different years/models...be a little more specific...crx, civic???

I'm sure you can trace and dremel them into your bumper it may look a little funny

 

And if not the sir boxer lights then maybe some integra ones? Cause I read that the sir bumper is more rounded.

Well I been searching like crazy for a someone that had done this just do I would see if I like it. But either way this is just temporary I will start buying everything SIR in a few months,I have loved the SIR front end since day 1! But I am just a dude on a budget, and my girl is gonna get the lights for me for Christmas. So when I get them done I will post pics! Maybe a DIY!

 

Looks like a piece of ****, just keep it stock until you can afford it.

 

Dont think its going to work without hacking up your front bumper,and even if you find SiR bumper lenses,they are expensive.I paid about $150 for a mint set off Ebay a couple years back.I believe they are longer and have more curvature to them than the USDM lenses.Id just opt for some amber USDM lenses until you save up for the JDM bumper and do it right.

 

It's been done before on this site. Member pretty much had to chop up a JDM bumper and mold the entire bumper light portion onto a usdm bumper

 

dont do it.
the sir front is more rounded. the amber lights curve more towards the back of the bumper.

 

idk why people are telling the op not to do it but its his car and if he wants to fake it then let him so just help him on his request

Well guys thanks for helping me out I had my mind made up before I made the post. But I just needed to see if anyone had any pointers. I can get another Rex bumper no prob I just like being different. But thanks for the tips! And also I will take some pics when it's done!

 

i've seen it done, some looked good, some didn't
just a matter of personal opinion

 

I'm in for the after christmas DIY...it may not be oem, but I've wondered how it might look too. Do it!
