I'm looking for a real Carbon roof not a carbon roof cover, do you have an idea where to buy this part?

Otherwise I will buy a Sunroof block off plate

 

No where. Shops that have done these come and go. Usually because they cannot keep up with demand. These are totally custom.

 

wouldn't a real carbon roof mean cutting the existing roof off and replacing it with the carbon part? Not cost effective imo...

 

Yes cut the OEM roof for the carbon one!

Yes I contacted them yesterday price $379 for the Kit

 

ive looked at them before too. to replace it you dont have to cut anything actually. under the roof moldings the roof panel is spot welded so you just have to drill those out, then epoxy the carbon roof down. some of the roofs reuse the factory braces and some have extra carbon built into it to replace the braces. the 1s with the braces are a lil heavier but will save more weight over-all. i gonna do this to my eg after i replace the coilovers.
