Saw you
I think we should have a thread about people who saw each other driving their CRX/EF's around. That way if the other person replies back then maybe they can have meets easier in their areas. Meets as I've noticed with my time being here usually turn out badly because people don't think anyone's going to show up so then nobody does.
I don't know, just a thought. They have one like this for bicycle forums so I figured why not.
I saw a really nice hatch while I was going onto the on-ramp of the 405 north from the 5 freeway. Looked really good, paint looked almost golden with metallic flakes in it.
Vote on it I guess. If nobody likes the idea or if there's one like this somewhere then please point me in the right direction or else then some mod just delete this topic.
PS. If this isn't the right location for this topic then point me to the right area.

yea this is true, I know i get worried about my car sometimes (at college and have to park a LONG way from where i can get to it easy)
The mere premise of this idea makes me wonder how many vehicles would be stolen because of it. I am not going to get into details why (the smart crooks already know - it's the dumb ones I don't want to educate) but I flat out just don't think it's a good idea. Also, there is a thing called "Missed Connections" or something of the sort on Craigslist already. Also, if you are lonely there is match.com, eharmony.com, ect available for you to find people. Regardless, this stuff is exactly why I don't post pictures of any of my vehicles or get into detail about what I have or who I am. It is a real downer to see people making build threads and showing their "soul" to have it end in - it was stolen - or a new thread pops up like the recent one - "I hate posting this - stolen hatch" or whatever.
Do what you want, people will follow suit. The problem will come from people saying things like you did in the first post - "saw this cool car it had this and that and was parked over here". I damn near punch someone out about every week because they are either taking pictures of my cars or knocking on my door asking if they can - be them my Imports or Domestics. Some people have the nerve to follow me to "ask me about my car". Good way to get shot if you ask me. Until you have had something stolen - I don't think you understand what paranoia is.
PS - Alright, I'll stop my little rant... back to your regular scheduled program.

Yeah I'm pretty paranoid as is, I drive circles around if I think someone is following me while I'm heading home, even after only a couple turns.

How would you even know if they are a member or not?
There are plenty of cars in my area that are Honda's.
Very few 88~91's are without any mods.
what would you do? Take a pic of the car and post it here asking if anyone owns it?

Honestly there are so many people in my area that drive honda's that are stupid shady, i'd rather not be pointed out where i'm driving. i already get noticed enough, example being i drove to the middle of Molalla to sell a radiator to a guy who lived out there, which was a decent drive from where i live. we got to talkin n he randomly dropped the "i knew i've seen your car around before" line when i told him where i worked.
point is i put hard work into my cars, don't think thieves need any more help finding peoples hard work to steal

Thieves are the biggest problem man. That and the little herrafrush punks driving around trying to race anyone with a heart beat.
I'd actually like to meet a lot of the guys on here, you all seem like a cool group to hang with.

I understand the whole thieves problem. I definitely agree with all of you about it. But like Manny said in his last line. There are a few people on here that I think would be cool to hangout with, but you can't really trust anyone now-a-days so I get whatchu mean.
