Default SQUEALL ON STARTUP Sohc zc 91 si trans exedy flywheel help

Hey guys, I need help.

I'm done swapping my engine, but when I start it, it makes a loud squeal!!!
We swapped the starter motor for a new one but it still does it.
The mechanic said it might be the starter or flywheel but we know it's not the starter anymore

Is it the flywheel?

I'm using an exedy race flywheel on a sohc zc (same as d16a6)
my tranny is 91 crx si.

My flywheel is for my car (d16a6) though so what's up

Runs great except that squeall
I also installed a new exedy oe clutch

I searched and came up with throw out bearing but the clutch works fine, it's only the squeall when I start it
Do I need a different flywheel or starter for this setup?
exedy 11 lb fly and sohc zc.

Any tips at all, from diagnosing to fixes is appreciated
A friend told me I probably need spacers

We peeked through the gap in the flywheel and the mechanic said the starter looks to be leaving indentations in the flywheel, like it's not lining up correctly

I have the starter out. I'll try and take a picture of the gear

Maybe I just need a different starter?

also make sure the dowel pins are in the block and trans. those things are hella important in the alignment of the trans to the block

aem cam gear

sound looks to be coming from the starter area

I think I may have the wrong starter.
I have the mitsube, but theres also a nippon denso
the nippon is for automatic cars. The engine was off a automatic car
but I'm using a manual trans, do I still neeed the auto starter?

Can you start the car and let it run long enough to jump inside and push your clutch in and out to see if the squealing noise changes?

You think the clutch could be causing it?
I'll give it a try

Essentially your descriptions are horrid... You should probably post a video of your issue - or learn how to be more descriptive so we can help you.

You should also consider the following parts as possible problems: Pilot barring, Throw-out barring, and the transmission.

Does engaging, and disengaging the clutch make a difference with the noise?

Well it wasn't doing it before, so the transmission is ok. The mechanic is sure it's not the pilot or throw out bearing.
I just checked and pressing the clutch has no effect.
I will post a video now

If I only just engage the starter with my key like I try in the middle of the video it does not make the noise

Video is up

sounds to me like the starter is not disengaging from the flywheel - since it does it with 2 different starters, my guess would be that it has to do with the flywheel - may be that the teeth aren't cut right on the flywheel?

I don;t know whether to be mad or happy,
I counted the teeth on my bisimoto flywheel (109) not in the car
Counted the teeth on my exedy from a picture I found in my cpu (110)
counted the teeth on my stock fly(109)
Would this cause it?
My starter has 9 teeth, can I buy a starter with 8 teeth? or 10 for a d series?
Will post the picture

Mine did the same thing, I had a XTD flywheel. Didnt do it with the DX trans I had, but it did with the SI. Never hurt anything, I drove the car to the track and had 120+ passes on it. I never worried about it enough to fix it, but i would try putting a washer between the starter and trans before you bolt it on. use thin washers so you dont strip the flywheel teeth, but it should work.

The starters teeth do not seem to go in all the way, I'll post a picture of that as well
