2008 EXL-V6 Accord - Alternator Dead?
Hi there!
I just want to know if any of you think it is ok, for a car this year have an dead alternator.
I went to the service an they gave this two numbers:
-31100-R70-A01 Alternator CSF91 (Bin - ASJAV3) $421
-779600-TA0-A02 SRS unit $260

it happens, depending on conditions, mileage, and at times these units just fail because of manufacturing.
it always seems it happens right after warranty, but that's the way it goes. welcome to life.
are you out of warranty? even if you are, you may be able to get it replaced by good will at the dealer, it's really dealer dependent.

I lost warranty on 12.10, i try a good will with them but it looks they are out of "good will". I made a research for repair it and it cost $149 w/90 days warranty and a replacement is $189 w/life warranty, i think i'll go with the $189 one, i refuse to pay what dealer is asking for it.
