Default EBAY Exhaust systems!!

Hey all,
Im trying to prove a point to my girlfriend that she cannot get a full exhaust system for a 95 civic ex for $100 from anywhere. Even on ebay a full bolt on exhaust system which includes the Header-Cat-Resonator-Muffler-All Piping and hangers included is still $190. She says that its way too expensive and she would never pay that.

Please share your input!

here is the link for the cheapest i could scour the internet for weeks and found!!

there is such a high amount of fitment issues with an ebay exhaust alone

she'd dump more than 190$ in getting it fitted correctly at a muffler shop for an ENTIRE system

just find a good exhaust shop and have them make you one. is she wanting it louder? 25 dollar "n1 style" can plus crush bent 2.5" piping will be MORE than enough for any set up she's running unless it's boosted

Actually there is no exhaust on it from the cat back. I bottomed out on a rock at a campground breaking it off right after the cat. the idiot that had the car b4 us, somehow had that connection welded together with some black tar type ****!? So, we do need an exhaust bad, cause **** is mad loud!!

there was a ricer exhaust on it b4 too, but now, were gonna go with the quietest we can get it.

Don't waste your time. The headers alone will prob give you fitment issues, plus if thin steel will prob crack esp at the flanges.

You get what you pay for.

If sound is what she wants have a shop fab her up a cat back system, forget the headers for now.

No exhaust after Cat. would of been cheaper to replace whole thing, IF we replaced headers with ebay full system. Seperate stock muffler is still $60 and Stock Cat is almost $100.

Now she just guaranteed me, that even if we dont replace headers or flange, she can still get a catback exhaust bought and put on for $100 or less!!

Yea i got ebay headers and ebay catback exhaust and the headers are about 2 inches shorter then they should be connecting to the cat. If your really low on money you can buy the ebay exhaust system, but make sure they have a return policy if they dont fit correctly.

if she don't wanna pay it don't buy it. it sounds pointless to buy your gurl parts for her car when its probably just a grocery getter.. just pay a shop to replace the exhaust nothing special. or look online on craigslist for a used catback system

lol and you think the exhaust from ebay will be quieter? those thing are ricecannons knock offs quietest exhuast you are going to get is stock now go to the junkyard and get a stock one unless you want aftermarket which idk why because its useless on a stock car get a Apexi WS2 but those are more than 300 lol 100 for an exhaust your gf doesnt know what planet she lives on go get a stock exhaust

Here's one that my bf got for his car. It has more of a deeper tone than it being a ricer exhaust. If you wanna go quieter, then find a stock exhaust. If you wanna go cheaper then go to the junkyard or wait for a deal on craigslist.

$125
http://www.ebay.com/itm/92-93-94-95-...ht_5489wt_1139

for a full exhaust system its $150.

I have a 3" N1 style exhaust that I got off ebay. Only issue I had with it was that one of the hangers that goes over the rear lower control arm was hitting something (don't remember what b/c I put it on like 3 years ago). Got my trust angle grinder with a cutting wheel on it and chopped the hanger right off in like 37 seconds.

Would def buy another one off ebay in a heart beat.

So is this truly a 3" exhaust or just a 3" tipped muffler? This is the only one on ebay I have found for 96-00 hatchback that's 3".
