So I got my first EK coupe about a 2 weeks ago with a d15b7 swap. And now I got a free d16z6 head from a friend and now I've started to hand polish the head.

Tell me if this sounds like a good setup:
d15b7 bottom end (stock internals)
z6 head and y8 gasket
b7 intake manifold
s20 tranny

Im looking for a conservative power gain with the same good gas mileage.
What ecu should I run with this set up? p28?
Anything I need to know before I dive into this swap please let me know thanks!

run a p28 ecu. its an ok setup don't expect much from it though its still a d series...

 

Yeah if you're going to do this find a Y8 manifold or Z6 don't do the B7.

With my minime I got a d15b block with a y8 head and skunk 2 intake manifold its alright kills stock ricer with muffler

 

I dont expect to make major hp. And D-series are awesome yo!!.
And I have a z6 manifold. I plan on making a reliable mini-me DD
