Any advice on the problem and solution? My accords interior light and drivers side door indicator stay on when I close the door. If I place closing force to the door, the light and door indicator turn off. If I place pressure to the door with my knee, the interior light and door open indicator turn on. Also, last night the car alarm went on by itself 3 times and had to disconnect the battery so it would not go on by itself.
All this started after one of my kids drove into a gas station and once stopped moved forward for the gas pump hose to reach and bumped the drivers door into a yellow post. Door got no dents with minimal paint damage and my kid is ok. When I am driving and door is closed, the interior light comes on randomly with the panel showing drivers side door open. Any advice?

 

That usually works off a button located in the door frame. May be in your door. Look to see if the button is loose or the connections are loose.
