Default 2004 Accord - four batteries in five years

i've had to replace the battery in my 2004 Accord 3 times in the last 5 years, and seeing the signs that the current battery is about to go (doesn't start on the first try - no clicking, just nothing. turn off and start over to get it going). all replacements - and 99% of service -- were done by Honda dealer. is there something that could be slowly draining the battery?? the last replacement was almost exactly a year ago . . . dealer service replaced some of the connections (? sorry I don't know the exact things) that they said were corroded and could be causing problems, but here i am a year later likely looking at needing another battery. help!

Make sure absolutely everything is off in the car. Dis-connect the negative battery cable. Take a test light and clip the lead to the negative battery post. Then touch the point to the negative battery cable. If the test light comes on when you touch the point to negative cable you have a parasitic draw somewhere.

Do you only do short trips? This can cause the battery to never get fully charged and fail sooner than normal.
