Default Do I need the resistor box

I have a 96 honda prelude Si. I did a JDM H22a swap and converted back to OBD1. It is currently running on a stock jdm OBD1 p13 ecu and runs well. I am swapping the ecu to a P28 chipped and I have been told I need to install the resistor box is this true? Not just because the ecu but just in general. Help would be amazing. Thanks in advance

The injectors determine if you need a resistor box, not the ECU. When you change injectors, then worry about needing/not needing a resistor box.
