there's a guy in the next city over that has a legit special edition CRX for sale, offering 4000obo. gonna go check it out today and see what its all about.
since my SI got totalled off, i'm considering getting back into another CRX. (still unsure) and if i do....i know this SE will be the one. i'll take pics of it when i go see it today and then make a decision.

alright...came back from looking at the car, and testing driving it.
a 17yr old owns it, there's a little chip in the front left bumper from hitting something sharp ? minor minor fix.
the center console's stereo/cubby hole was torn out cuz of a break in and they stole the cd player (damn thieves) ....again.....stupid easy to fix.
the clutch was very stiff to push in but i am betting thats from the stage 2 racing clutch that was put in. and the short throw stick shift has wobble play in each gears, but i'm betting thats probably from the bushing.
all in all its a really really clean CRX Special edition. runs strong, clean interior, clean engine bay. no rust, everything works, working AC, no cracks in the climate control.
the guy wanted 4500$ but i got a hand shake on 3600$, just waiting on the insurance company to give me my 700$ cheque from my deductible then i'm gonna go pick it up!
i didnt get any pics, cuz it was super dark out by the time we got back from the test drive.

Mann one of the main reasons to get the special edition is for the double din console. I would try four less. A stage2 clutch doesn't add to value, especially when they just do not last as long as OEM on a stock motor.
