Compomotive 3 piece TH's. I know everyone says their wheels are "rare", but these really are pretty rare in my book. I bought these off of an old man that used to make his own wheels in the 80's. He said these wheels were on display on an imported European GTI that was displayed at the 82 worlds fair here in Knoxville TN. I don't know how accurate this is but these are original Comps and don't seem to have ever been used. Right before I bought them his grandson tore them down and painted the centers a dark gray. They are staggered at 16x7 and 16x7 1/2 and have a 57.1mm center bore. These wheels run standard BBS motorsorts 20 bolt barrel and lips, so you can make these any offset or width your hart desires with a quick call to BBS in Atlanta. I believe the offset is close to et25 as they sit perfect on MK1 and MK2's. I will post pics of the other 3 wheels as soon a s I get a chance, but was trying to gauge interest in them for now. Price will be $1600 plus shipping. Will get more pics of other 3 asap, but they look just like the one pictured and I don't have center caps.

I think the something about these that is badass is the fact that they are the original TH line... Schmidt has taken this design with the Schmidt TH line. The other bad *** part is that Compomotive TH's are actual race wheels. Ultra lightweight and optimal brake clearance. These are 4x100 with a 57.1 center bore.







I am actually working a trade for my 1951 Packard with a friend in Nashville who would more than likely be bringing me the car and taking mine back. If that is the case, I am sure for a little extra boot you could have him pick these up and take to Nashville.

 

Wow can't believe no one has jumped on these. Super light. Super rare. Great condition. 3 piece. True motorsports wheels.
