Clutch going out!
Driving home last night from work at 1030pm, clutch had absolutely NO give in it (I barely place my foot on the clutch, and it hits the floor) and I had to force the car out of gear twice. 2000 civic DX wondering if there's any quick fix to look for? If not, any decent clutch recommendations and a ballpark of how much that+installation might run me? Had to steal wifey's car this morning to get to work!
Any info greatly appreciated. Thanks guys

things to check first
clutch fluid may be low, if low most likely due to master cylinder leaking, and it leaks inside car slowly so hard to see over time
or slave could be bad, which can also leak
or clutch
i would start with the other 2 first, and there not much money or work, compared to doing a clutch
good luck

My clutch pedal hit the floor one time in a drive-thru, and would not return back up. I found out my clutch line was cracked. Check every connection in the system for leaks, although it sounds like your pedal returns back up.
Yeah it just hits the floor and then slowwwly comes back up like it's on its last breath.. If there's a leak, is it expensive to fix? Never had to deal with this before, but I need to get it fixed asap, so I'm kinda anxious about it.. sorry
