Default Someone confirm this for me?

Can someone look at this pic and confirm that 12 is the Engine Coolant Temperature Switch? You know the one that turns the radiator fan on. My friends 97 Civic has a bad one and when I called the dealer they said it was $215 and majestic lists it for $25 or so! I'm pretty sure 12 is the right part but I want to make sure before I order. Thanks

you are correct. 12 is for your radiator fan(s) to turn on. whats number 15? Looks like a seal for the sensor.

Yes 15 is listed as an O-ring. The dealer I called must have been on crack. Actually I think it was cause the guy on the phone was pretty much clueless as to what I was talking about.

you need a p/n 37760-P00-004. Known as the poo sensor to parts counter folk. I list it out for $32.85. Your dealsership is full of cacks. FYI, it is interchangable with the 37773-PT3-A01 from an Accord.

(oh, and yeah, it is #12)
