Default question about converting to manual

sup guys, glad i finally am able take a step onto the dark side() but got a question about converting to manual on a 4 door.

i know you have to use a conversion mount on the civic to convert to manual because the mount it mounted in a different location. does this apply to the accords as well or is it pretty much straight drop in and run?

and i will ALSO admit it has been a while but im assuming the f and h series transmissions are interchangeable on these models? and were the accords always shift linkage models or did they use the cables like the preludes did?

car is a 94 btw
