Lowered beyond what is recommended would be my guess. Might wanna ask the guy you bought it off of.

I'd say most likely an accident. Probably a nice side on smack to a curb or something along those lines..

 

Hard telling, but either way Progress will happily sell you a new shock for $65 shipped last I checked. Would probably be there in 3-4 days.

 

One of the perils of buying used, I have talked to Progress and they are very good to deal with on getting replacement parts I was going to replace both perches I might even just sell whole set and buy new. Have plenty of time with the weather .. Thanks all who commented
