will 1990 crx si suspension components fit on a 88-91 civic hatchback?
i have a complete 1990 crx si suspension that i re did myself, junked the car because it was too rusty, have been looking for another crx in my area, very hard to find one not rusty. so i have been looking at getting a 88-91 hatchback and was wondering if all my crx suspension will fit the hatch? and i do mean all of it. i have (all were on my crx si) coilovers, sway bars, ebc rotors/ new calipers, rear disk brakes, all suspension stuff was stripped of rust and repainted, which is why i want to reuse it. am also building a lsvtec and was wondering if the hatch is not a si, would i have to use the si wiring harness from my crx (still have it) before the motor swap would proprely work? i know a different ecu, obd conversion harness etc, would also have to be done. also maybe another dumb question. how do you tell if a hatchback is actually an si? is it the same as a crx?-rear disk brakes, manaul tranny, 1.6l, will it have an si sticker on the back? i just dont want to be told i am looking at si hatchback and have to believe what they say because i dont know what i am looking for. would rather find an si hatch if possible. thanx
si will have a sunroof/moonroof. (Not sure if troll)
all suspension components should work 100% to the best of my knowledge.
someone will chime in about the engine

ICrx/Civic Si and DX same suspension and brake components except for the crx si rear brakes since civic si olny came with crappy drums but the trailing arms are completly swappable you just need use the crx si rear brake lines and the emergency brake cables to work properly.Crx HF and Civic standard use a smaller knuckle then the dx/si
I would swap in the si body harness, that's me personally though. i swapped in an si body/engine harness on my hatch, and an ex sedan body/engine harness on my lx sedan.
minus the parking brake cables everything will bolt right up to the hatch from your old crx. for best performance i'd reccomend getting a 15/16ths master cylinder and matching brake booster and a 40/40 prop valve from a da integra, but you don't have to.
i'm running a crx si rear sway bar and lca's on my sedan if it makes a difference to ya

when you say si/body harness, do you mean all the wires under the dash, to the computer, basically all the wires in the car? i do still have that in case i need it, uncut. but my plan is to do a lsvtec swap, so would i need to change to my crx si main wiring harness if installing the lsvtec in a non si car, or is it better to modify the original harness that is in the car that is getting lsvtec?

Hi, so my understanding is that if I have a 91 civic hatchback SI, the 91 CRX rear disc will bolt right up? Please clarify cause I have a 91 CRX rear suspension and would like to know everything I need to install it on my hatch. Thanks!
Ya, I was just wondering cause I'd like to switch over to disc, and I saw a lot of posts that you need a trailing arm and E brake cable off the older interga.
