gave out on I 90 in albany right after downshifting into 3rd, getting ready to run an EG hatch. so it's on to my long awaited Ls swap. buying an STD hatch with an ls swap not running for 250 and buying a rebuilt ls motor. the hatch has
hasport mounts
hasport linkage
off brand header
off brand exhaust
off brand intake
pretty sure the dizzy's bad on the hatch but im not taking any chances when i have a rebuilt ls ready to go. so i guess this'll be my unofficial build thread till i organize everything and take some pictures of the pull tomorrow

 

probly shoulda checked your oil and you'd still have a healthy d16 you could've sold to make some money

i'd never sell that tning, and the oil was fine. it wasn't even low. oh well none the less it's just another excuse for me to get my swap in motion

i've had it for a month and it's got 240000 miles onit. i honestly have no idea how it was treated before i owned it but i definitely kept the oil level topped off all the time

 

and once again, had it for a month on a limited budget, not much asthetics i can really take car of.

After you replace the engine, don't drive the car.
Your tires are going to blow.
I can see the steel radials coming through.
you need tires and an alignment.

 

eyah im getting tires it with the d series in it the rockers sat 2.5 inches off the ground. it was dumped. not very functional. it's getting the stock suspension while it's all taken apart



and now the grimey **** motor is pulled.
