I'm thinking about buying a current gen V6 Accord. How do you guys like it? What do you usually get for MPG? I hear the V6 engine is very peppy.

 

Old post but ill help you out. I have a v6 6 speed coupe version. Can average about 550 miles on a tank during long trips of freeway driving at about 65 - 70 MPH. Averages in mid 30's per gallon. City driving milage for me is bad unless you really drive cautiously like trying to time the lights and what not. Of course i like to pull away quickly and drag race unsuspecting cars :D engine is very peppy especially if you rev the hell out of it and the 6 speed isnt a bad choice either. Only problem so far is the brakes are shitty. Other than that i love my Accord and it was money well spent!

 

I've gotten about 30 mpg with my 6-6 on the highway also... but that's about it. around the city, I just can not seem to keep it above low 20's. probably the way I drive
