Mine is made in Canada and has the number 14-0709-4 (which is a Canadian Tire number and probably will mean nothing to a U.S. parts guy..) as well as 360K6 which I believe is the length in mm's, I could be mistaken..

Well, my belt for my PS (AEM pulley) is a 425K6.Which is 42.5in belt. And your saying your belt for your alt is a 360K6,which is probably a 36 in belt.
Sounds about right, maybe Ill go for a 36in 6 rib. Or if GudeH23a, can get back to me, that would be my best bet

just use a measuring tape and go arond the pulleys and it will get you REAL close to how long it needs to be. Then just go to Napa and say i need a 5/6 rib belt blah blah...as close to this length blah blah...that's what I did, but I took out PS and AC so my belt is tiny. Jsut goes around the crank and Alt.

I have all of that out too, and still need to remove the compressor. I will not be using that or the p/s, so i'm also looking for the smaller belt.

ludespeeder- do you remember the part# for the belt you used?

It's a 360k6 you need.. I just confirmed with a parts guy that it's 36 inches x 6 rib.. done.

can you just unbolt all the AC stuff? is it that simple or do you have to drain a lot of fluids and stuff. id like to take mine out for the arizona winter, but dont want to worry about tons of liquids everywhere. and also, when its time to put it back in, do you have to get it recharged or just bolt it back up and go on your way?

You have to properly vent the freon gas into a container....you can get it done at a shop and then you cantake it out as far as I know

I just ripped my ac out, there are three major components. The compressor, condensor and evaporator. the evap has the hardest because of having to take out the passanger airbag to get to it and after you get it out you'll have a BIG hole in your firewall, which i needed to get more cables through. The condenser is in front of the radiator and was easy. I has a friend who is more mechanically inclined than me figure out the belt, he took some measurement between the pullies and after some math was able to figure out the belt size.

I have not taken out my compressor yet, but I will any day now, and i'm sure it will be easier without an engine in there....

Hmm I have a UR crank pulley but stock Alt pulley...if I remove the AC I have no clue what I should use. UR says 1994-99 2.2L Gates K060345 if I had the set....so with a stock alt pulley 340? (UR alt pulley is only slightly bigger than stock)

i forgot, i have the aem pulley on my altenator. it will give a different length if you have the stock pulley. this is all you do... Use your old belt that you used for the a/c, run it on the crank then on the altenator, then take the extra length of the belt and kind of make a U out of it then keep doing so till you got the excess lenght off. get a marker and mark where the belt touches itself. then take it to napa and say you need the same pattern belt but one that has a length where you marked on your original belt. remember the altenator uses a tensioner so if he gives you one a little longer its ok, you just tension it till it is within snug specs. i hope this makes sense to you....

I got the AEM alt pulley onto, It would be great if you could remember what belt size your useing, it would make it that much more easy.

Thanks you guys, that would make life easy for me

So you're talking about belt size with UR Crank, no A/C and stock alt. yes?
