Default HID light questions?

I want to get some HID lights but, I dont want to melt my new light housings the kit is this V

i have been running my HID's in my OEM housing in my 97 Ek since i got the car seven months ago. no problems. they shouldnt melt anything.

thank you was wondering because i don't have projector housings and would like to have hid lights there is a ring in my passenger side head light from last owner melted it but He said he didn't have any HIDs in it can a halogen burn a circle in a light housing?

i never heard of HIDs melting anything,
iv had hids on my old car for a year and everything was fine

just be careful with the 55w. i would not recommend those.
as long as you stick with 35w hid kit you should be fine.
also be careful with ddm.
they started drop shipping from china. that means you have to wait a few weeks to get your hid kit.

best to go with a clear housing and a retrofit if you want to go hids.. hids in a reflector housing made for halogens will just scatter the light..

I've been saying ima do the retrofit but haven't got around to it.
To this day I haven't been flashed by other drivers and the light out put is far better then stock halogens
Projector mod coming soon tho

I can clean up my stock lights and see what i can do for a retro projection in them would be nice to have some more light
