foglight question

Default foglight question

ok so i bought some after market fog lights for my crx the but it only has a red wire not red and blk there for if it dosnt have anyground would they still work???

as u can see in the 2nd pic it only has a red wire n on the box it days to run one from battery to switch n other from fogs to switch but dosnt say anything about any ground!??

does it us H3 bulbs? you may have to make your own ground then. ive bought some walmarts ones before and it came with grounds. id have to see inside the lamp and the way the fog bulb is placed. usually theres a piece of metal that sticks out that you plug a terminal onto for a ground.

is the fog light housing metal or plastic? if its metal, then the bulb is most likely grounding out within the light itself, and when you bolt the light to the metal frame you complete the circuit.

yes its meatl and no its not h3 there similar to the corner ligjt bulbs just bigger

then the red wire goes to the switch.then from the switch to the battery OR to the parking lights. but the fogs wont turn on with the parking lights off. GL WITH INSTALL!

hey u guys so i installed them in aready they work i had to tap into corner lights n got the ground off of the skrew holding my bumper lol installed my hid's as well but ill post some pics tmw thanx for all the feed back guys
