OBD-1 vs OBD-0 Distributors
I don't see what makes a distributor OBD-1 or OBD-0, I have only seen 3 distributors up close. I am currently having distributor problems so I'm learning a lot about them. Here are the three that I have:
1. Came on engine with weird harness guy said engine came out of 92-95 civic, the cap had INTEGRA written on it in junkyard crayon. (OBD-1?)
2. The guy gave me this looks identical to one, possibly original non-working zc
3. My Si, has more wires for internal cylinder position sensor. (OBD-0?)
I am running the Si ECU so would that mean I have to run an OBD-0 distributor, or is OBD-1 and OBD-0 just referring to what kind of plug is on the end of the wires? Basiclly if I'm running a 90 DOHC ZC engine with my Si ECU what distributor am I looking for to solve my code 4 problem?

Everything is the same between them except for:
1) the connectors
2) the number of teeth on the pulse wheels for the tdc/cyp/cpk sensors
90+ civic/integra distributors have 7 wires on one plug, 2 on the other.
The ZC/88-89 integra should have a 6 pin connector.. only 5 wires are used. The ZC uses the cyl position sensor on the exhaust cam, hence the lack of 2 wires. These are obd0 distributors and the teeth match other obd0 distributors, but you can't use them unless you have the separate exhaust cam sensor.
obd1 distributors do not work with obd0 ecus even if you do the wiring correctly, the teeth are wrong. The converse is also true.
