i just swaped a b20b into my crx and when i try to start it fuel dumps out the exhaust. there is no poping or anything just cranking. it was running just fine in my other crx before i pulled it to drop in my new one. i crank it for a few seconds and there is a puddle of gas. any ideas would be helpful, thanks

 

Have you checked to see if you have spark?

 

is there a way i can check spark by myself?

 

why dont you have a header/exhaust mani on ?

 

i do have a header on. i dont have the exhaust piping on it though. i need it running before i get the rest of the exhaust on. fuel is dumping out the end of the header.

well you could pull the dizzy

then have the ignition module tested and the coil at autozone thats what my problem was

when my car wasnt starting

 

ill go give that a shot and let ya know

 

k so the cel are 10 which is intake air temperature and 15 ignition output signal. before i go out and buy a new dizzy is there anything else it could be. wireharness is brand new ive checked and rechecked all my grounds. i checked for spark and there isnt any. plugs are new. plug wires and dizzy i was using earlyer before the swap. i know honda dizzys suck and go out all the time.

 

sounds like the ignitor in the dizzy has gone bad.....

 

code 15 can be ignitor, coil or bad ecu, or bad wiring.
