racing rules about relocating battery
At BOTI the tech guy told me:
1. must be encased and vented to the outside.
2. Must have a cutoff switch located on the outside of the car that kills the entire electrical system.
I had an Optima red top.

I want to relocate the battery to the trunk as well. but how do you have it vented to the outside. how can i run the positive cable from the trunk to the engine bay? outside of the car or inside of the car. dose anyone has installed pictures?
thanks

Go to http://www.summitracing.com and buy one of the kits, either Moroso kit, or the generic Summit Kit. The Summit kit should have all you need.
The switch out the back of your car to kill your electrial system is an NHRA rule if your running in a certian time class. It's very fast, so I doubt you'll have to worry about it... I wanna say it's 9.99 and under, but I'm not positive.
Cable get's run inside the car.
