Default tranny swap

My clutch on my 96 accord is going out and instead of wanting just a new clutch i want to get a new transmission. I have a manual f22b1 and was wondering what the best swap for a transmission would be performance wise

T2W4 is a LSD Transmission that came with the H22A7 Accord Type R(UKDM). The Accord Euro R(JDM) also have this engine and trans. But to be honest, any H22 or H23 trans will result faster acceleration. H23 transmission would be in the middle where it's not super short or too long. Just perfect from what I heard.

Of course not knowing what the engine is going to become....hard to pick a trans that will get the most out of it? Or are we missing some more info?

Plan with the end in mind....why put a 4 speed muncie with 4:56 gears to then build a SB Chevy to find out you can't drive on the local highway to the track without turning so many rpm's you kill the motor.......do the math and homework if you are serious about doing something....if you are just playing around, have fun....Just my 2 cents.

EDIT: Sorry to sound like an a%# but I'm going to bet you have no idea of what you are wanting to do besides "go fast". I'd suggest you get use to driving, then as time, money and knowledge comes you can get into legal, safe speed. For now, put a dang new clutch, flywheel (resurface), bearing (might as well throw a new rear main in it) and really think about what you want to do......why spend an extra 300, 600 or more on a trans to find out in a year you want nothing to do with the Honda....good day

what i want to do is put a tranny that can handle and will be nice on a f22b1 engine block with a h22 head and eventually turbo. I will get a junker next winter so i dont always have to drive the honda in bad weather and all but this is my third honda and am not turning away from it any time soon. Im farely new so definetly still learning but it has 250k miles and a new tranny is necessary

The M2S4 (USDM Prelude H23) is a good all around choice. Or the JDM M2A4 (Prelude H22) has a longer 5th gear for freeway speeds. Youll be happy with either and the prices are reasonable. T2W4 is badass but badass costs $$$.

Alright so i have some more questions i have decided to go with the h22. When swapping out tranny's what will i all need new. I plan on getting a new clutch along with a the tranny i know it sounds like a noob question but would the stock clutch come with a tranny. Also my last question when ordering new parts such as a new clutch would i order a clutch for my 96 accord or 96 prelude since the tranny is fron a prelude and my engine is a f22b1.
