Default 90 Prelude starting problem

I have a 90 Prelude that has a starting problem whenever its a hot day. It will crank and act like its about to start, then doesn't. After that you can constantly crank it, but nothing will happen. If you wait a few minutes after that and try to crank it, it will start right up. This only happens on a hot day when you first go to start it up? Any help?

it is your main fuel relay. you need to replace it. i had that problem at the beginning of this summer. you will need to check and see if you have a nippondenso or delco fuel relay by pulling it out and reading the side of it. the relay is attached to the left side of your under dash fuse box.

yeah it sounds like your main relay. Give the the fuse box a good whack and it will start right up.

-side note: replace the main relay
