Trouble engaging First and Reverse.
My car had the k20a2 swap done half a year ago and last month I blew the clutch so I went and did that myself and it was the first big mechanical thing I've ever done. I also didn't have a torque wrench so I just guessed on all the torque settings.
After doing this, the car was driving amazing like it should. Then a few days ago I feel that it was really hard for me to engage first and put it in neutral after engaging reverse. But it would be a heck of a lot easier to engage first if I hit the clutch down and put it in first at the same time. Then I went on flat land and put it in neutral, then I kept the clutch on the ground, put it in first and the car started slowly moving forward. I tried it in reverse and the car was moving backwards even faster.
So I decided to do an oil change and a manual transmission fluid change. About 1.5L of fluid came out of the transmission. The oil I used was royal purple and acura mtf, it took about 2L. But this really didn't help much, maybe a little.
Can someone please help me figure out what the issue is please, I would be very grateful. Could I need to bleed the clutch? New Synchros? Amsoil transmission fluid? Did I put the fork in the transmission wrong?
Thank you.

best trans fluid to use is honda or acura MTF. NO royal purple or amsoil its all junk when it comes to a honda transmission. these K series transmissions are very fragile. sounds like the clutch is not fully engaging. id try to bleed the clutch and see what u come up with. put the fork in wrong? did u try rebuilding this transmission yourself? this would be useful info for us to know.
I used royal purple for my engine oil change and I got the Acura MTF in there now but I just heard people talk about Amsoil MTF like it was miracle fluid. And the fork has to come out to get the clutch bearing out, my new clutch came with a new one so I swapped it.
But I have a feeling you're right about bleeding the clutch, it's the only thing that makes sense to me right now. I had clutch hydro problems since when I got the engine first put in, about half a year ago. But I don't remember first gear being that hard to hit in.
Please guys can I have some more responses. It would honestly mean so much to me.
Thank you.
