I was just trying to unbolt my thermostat ground, to attach another ground to it, and sheered off the bolt...is there any other spot where I can attach this? Its just a ground correct and can go anywhere? Anyone run into this problem before?!

 

you should have another bolt on the thermostat you can connect the ring terminal to. as long as its a solid connection, your fine.

 

There is another spot on the top of the housing with no bolt to it, should be fine right?

 

basically any bolt will do, as long as all the connections are completed.
