Default D15B6

Im pretty new to the crx world and looking to get a HF with D15B6 motor and have been trying to get some info on it but havent been able to find much. If some one could give me some info history on it or let me know of a page that does it would be great! Or just History of HF in general.

88-91 hf's came w/d15b6 engines, 62+hp stock, racers like the lightweight body (around 1800lbs) but toss the motor and tranny. hf drivetrains are usually pretty cheap used. if u like mpgs the mostly stock hf is capable of 75+mpg, i think 118mpg is the record, so far. A stock hf will go 55mph in 5th gear at 1750 rpms. Cross country trips average 38mpg at 95mph. Might do better w/tuning. Manual steering, so little tires are best. Some states allow HOV plates, since mpg's are better than most hybrids. when gas prices spike, hf prices spike. cheap to keep. a 14' lift will handle 1 in an average garage. just back it on the top shelf so u can get the door open.
