Default Tranny Question

Recently when i shift into 3rd in my 98ex, above 4500rpms my gears grind.. What would be the problem, and how should i fix it.. I highly doubt its the clutch, however i do have about 80k on the clutch.. Its the stock tranny thats on the car..

synchros. Not worth fixing, just get a new used tranny.

yeah, $20 for a synchro is not worth fixing, IF it is the synchro.
