Hey guys I searched and Couldnt find any help, I have a 91 crx si that has no check engine light on and on my way home from work today started cutting in and out, the car starts up fine but idles a little rough and power is is cutting in and out is it a fuel problem? cat? any help would be awesome because I drive this car 70 miles every day to work and I need to go to work tomorrow lol thanks guys.

 

hmmmm is it cutting out at a certain throttle position? whats your setup?

 

just a sohc zc all stock, cuts out all through out the range I tried a new fuel pump and fuel filter it didnt fix it I am not sure what else it could be?

 

its actually more like cutting in it has mostly a power loss and sometimes cuts in and gets power back for a few seconds

 

fixed it replaced the spark plugs and wires and the problem is gone!!!

 

Cool man......I'm almost having the exact same problem and have replaced almost the same parts you did and many others. Haven't been able to figure it out yet but I'll try that myself. Glad you got it back though bruh......I drive about 60 miles round trip to work and back everyday so I know where you're coming from.

 

yep had to miss one day of work but not to bad!
