5 speed swap, some real headers and 2.5 exhaust piping.

technically its header, only one

f22b2, could do a mild turbo build depending on how sound the engine is. but you would want a 5-speed swap too.

In all honesty that is the only way your going to get some better daily driver power - swap the tranny and go from there. For a little more power though, get a good header... or get into more of the exterior,, lighting/fogs/lip/lower/wheels/ or if you are serious about going the power route swap a 5 speed and h22 engine. Then turbo that, not cheap but youl be making some serious power

I got real lucky on the condition. An elderly man had it. took real good care of it. so, ok headers and sorry again, but what part would start the mild build up? thanks again.

How much money are you willing to spend? You can do a lot to these engines. Wow, nice to have another Accord fan in the area.

well, gonna have to take it slow for now, but income soon comin. so, ill start by acquiring the parts. as far as budget, id say 1000-1500 hundred eventually. i figure its that much for parts right? but i gotta few suspension problems to work out, like rotors, struts, etc.

hey gogydm, what have you done to your accord? probably can trade some notes. Question, if my steering a little bumpy, could be brakes and rotors, or alignment, rims bent, or struts right? feel somethin comin, wanna be prepared

Hey, well for now all I have is an AEM short ram. I have a 97 EX manual coupe. I am currently putting together a B2 engine for a turbo. And what exactly do you mean by bumpy steering? Is it all the time or just when you break? What exactly is this "bumpiness"? You have good ideas so far, a header with a 2.5" collector would be perfect, and then 2.5" piping all the way back.

yo, ex coupes are nice! yeah its when i brake, sorry, bumpy is the best way to describe it. u think its probably a warped rotor? I dont think they have been changed, its got 135k on it. same with struts. rims i purchased on craigslist, could be a little bent. would this also affect this?

Rotors man, I am pretty sure. Struts won't make your steering bumpy. Rims you would feel all the time, changing when you speed up or slow down. Hit me up some time, we can meet up and discuss other ideas.

That would be cool, dude. I dont have many "car" friends, Can meet for some starbucks or some sh#t. Ok, Gonna look at some rotors slotted and drilled. Then with ceramic pads? I think I should try not to scrimp on this area.

Sounds like a plan. I haven't tried running anything but the stock pads so I can't comment here. Try searching and look what people have use and are happy with. If you really want to stop quicker there are things you can do.
