96 accord ecu
1996 honda accord ecu will not work when cold... i have to warm unit up with hair dryer or bring in house when temps outside are below 55 degrees....bought 2 used units from salvage yard and both worked fine for a couple of weeks then same problem....any help?
will not start........engine turns over does not start....im thinking of a remanufactured one but i would like to be sure it won't end up like the $50 salvage yard ecu units....just wondering if anyone has come across this...
Personally, I'd step back and re-think this......first thing I would do if figure out what/if anything is missing when this happens.
Are you getting spark, confirmed how?
Are you getting fuel, confirmed how?
Edit: When the conditions are correct for the issue, get in a habit of turning the key to on/pos II (the position where the key would be when the car was running) and watch the CEL light....does it come on for ~3 sec and then go off....once off, try starting the car???
