Default Couple pictures of my 98

Did the bi-weekly wash and took some pictures. I usually wash it at least once a week, rain or shine.. Depends on if the wife is going to complain a little or a lot about me washing the car again. This is my daily driver, I know some people dont agree with an R as a DD. The only way I could get this car was if it was to be my daily. Currently ~113k miles. Anyways, took some pictures, thought you guys might like to see.

Didn't know if anyone would be interested, but I kind of want to get rid of the Greddy muffler for a stock muffler. Its not super loud, I just like the OEM look. If anyone would like to trade? Its just a muffler welded to the stock piping.

Just seems like the majority of people seem to think that these things should just sit because they get stolen so much. I don't know... Lots of people don't even seem to know what it is. I wonder how many people think I put the stickers and the wing on my GSR or LS sometimes. I enjoy the heck out of daily driving it. Was getting 30-31mpg with the summer fuel. Seems to have dropped to an average of 27-28 now, which still isn't that bad.

Wow, your 98 looks to be in great condition and props to you for washing her so frequently. Daily driving an ITR is awesome. I daily drove my 97R for over 2 years and Ive been driving my 98 spec Honda ITR for about a month already. A stock muffler would indeed be a great idea!

My S2000 and ITR double as my daily drivers in the summer time. The problem that arises is the need to go to somewhere like...the city (chicago) or just somewhere kinda shady where I can't watch the car. I have a regular model 2001 integra that I use for my winter car. That usually gets driven if I go somewhere shitty.

The R makes a great daily except for the lack of cruise and the theft rate. It gets better MPG than my non-VTEC integra does lol.

The advantage to it not being a daily is that I can do impractical stuff to it in order to make it faster on track.

I've been collecting cruise parts and seriously thought of putting cruise on my R. Took it on several long trips and it sucked not having it.

OP your caR looks great. Props to an R owner that's as OCD as I am about a clean Ride.

just get a Spoon N1, it looks stockish and is super quiet. (1 out of 2 ain't bad)

IDK what that has to do with anything. But I already did buy a header. A header won't change driveability by much.

You had some mods done, so I was curious, that is the typical next step for bolt ons.

Mine has a header, wheels, tires, brake pads, brake fluid, GC/Konis (custom rates on the GCs)....and I'll be ordering up a 4.78FD as soon as it becomes available. Till I get my S2000 fixed and ready, the ITR will be my primary track car next year....for the first couple of events.

props on driving the r daily. super clean and nicely modded. i don't personally own an r, but glad to see you get it out and enjoy it. imo, cars are meant to be driven and enjoyed. theft runs rampid where i live and I try my best to be cautious. otherwise i enjoy driving my car.
