Hey guys,
So I am putting 2000 seats in my 95, this is the dilemma.

PIC IS FOR REFERENCE, THESE ARE NOT THE SEATS I AM SWAPPING
The right is what I want to fit, but the left is how the stock one comes, and this hook doesn't line up.
Please don't reply telling me to 'bend' it out of the way, I am not interested in doing it like this.
I am wondering, I have read on these two threads:
Link 1
Link 2
I am wondering if I can take that black bracket, put it in my car, and have the seats clip into it?
If this doesn't work, can I take the seat apart, remove the rail, and put in an older rail to have it line up to my frame?
The OBD1 Tegs (94-95) have the seat mount in the frame
The OBD2 Tegs (96+) have the seat mount on a black bracket
The black bracket and hook inserts that came with OBD2 96+ Tegs, is this bracket swapable?

THANKS!

http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/...s=&view=normal but only the last part and the line drawing is the same, as the body style did not change the part # diff. may not matter, why not pull the "black bracket" and see if you can make it fit, even if you have to drill a few holes and install nuts/bolts. 94

SebTeggy, what trim has the leather interior? I'm assuming its a 2001 GSR? I to want to swap my interior for leather, and I just wanted to wish you luck and if you have success I am also interested in doing this. As you know I also have a 94 RS and the rear (bottom seats) were a pain in the a** to remove lol, but I did manage to screw myself. The one bolt that is on the passenger side, that is holding the seat in place I broke the head off to that bolt. It was really rusty, and I should have been more careful while trying to remove it. I was just curious,is there another way to remove the remaining piece of this bolt without having to drill it out and re thread the hole?

I think your best best would be to try to weld a bigger nut on it, quench it (water) to temper the weld, and slowly loosen it. Also, another trick after you have welded it, hit it with a hammer to brake the rust free from the threads. Post up a pic and I can give you some more tips.

Thanks for that info.
